Development Credit Bank Pune

This is the Development Credit Bank Pune branch that ended up way over here in Shimla. We are set up in the Dogra Building, right in the Engine Ghar area of Sanjauli. It is a bit different from the weather in Pune, that is for sure. Being up here in Himachal Pradesh, we deal with a lot of local residents who live around the hills. The building itself is an older one, quite sturdy, which is good when the winter sets in. We handle all the standard banking work you would expect. People walk up the steep roads to get to us, so we try to be quick with their transactions. It is a small team working here. We know most of the people who come through the door by name. It is not like a big city bank where everything is anonymous. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for the space we have. There is often a bit of a breeze coming through the windows in the afternoon. We just keep our heads down and work through the files. Sometimes the power flickers when the weather gets bad, but we manage to get things sorted eventually. It is a quiet existence here in Sanjauli, just doing the banking basics for the folks in the neighborhood. We don't have any flashy signs or anything, just the name on the door and our usual daily routine to follow through.
