As A Data Entery Operator Steno English

My workspace is located within the Himfed Building in New Shimla, specifically in the Company Secretary Department of SJVNL. I work under Sh. Puneet Kumar Sharma as a data entry operator and English stenographer. It's a quiet office environment for the most part, situated in the 171009 zip code area. My day mostly consists of listening to recordings or taking notes and then typing them up accurately on the computer. I spend many hours at my desk, making sure the records are kept straight and the documents are formatted correctly. Being in Shimla, the view outside can be nice, but I’m usually focused on the screen or my shorthand notes. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it needs to be done right. The building itself is a standard government-style structure, nothing too flashy or modern. I’ve been doing this for a while, so my typing speed is decent, and I’ve gotten used to the specific terminology used here. Sometimes there's a rush to get a report finished, and other times it's a bit slower. I don't really have a big team; I just handle the tasks that come across my desk. It’s practical work that requires a lot of patience and attention to detail. I take the bus to get here, and I usually bring my own lunch from home. It’s a simple life, focused on getting the data entered and the letters typed without too much fuss. Every document matters, even if the work feels a bit dry sometimes.
