Vinay Enterprise

Vinay Enterprise is located near Neepco in the East Khasi Hills district. Specifically, we are in the village of Denseiniong. Being up here in the hills means the weather is often cool and misty, which is a nice change from the plains. The village is small and everyone knows our spot near the Neepco facility. It’s not an easy place to get to if you aren't familiar with the mountain roads, but the view is great. Our office is just a small room with a few chairs and a desk. We spend a lot of time coordinating things over the phone since we are a bit remote. The local people from Denseiniong are very helpful. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s more like a family-run thing where we all pitch in. Sometimes the rain gets so heavy that we can’t even hear ourselves think, but that’s just life in the Khasi Hills. We deal with various supplies and services for the local area. It’s a quiet way to run a business compared to the city. We don't have any fancy signs or bright lights. Most of our work comes from being a reliable part of the local community for a few years now. We usually wrap things up early when the fog starts rolling in. It’s a decent place to work and we like it here.
