We've been here at Bara Bazar for a good while now, right across from the jeep stand. It stays pretty busy around here with the traffic and people coming and going all the time. Running a cement business like Rkb Cements (P) Ltd. means dealing with a lot of heavy lifting and dusty floors every day. Most mornings start early, getting things ready before the sun gets too hot. We keep the inventory stacked and try to keep track of what's moving out to the local building sites. It’s not fancy work, just honest labor. Sometimes the trucks get delayed because of the narrow streets nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. People know where to find us because the jeep stand is a landmark everyone recognizes. We mostly just focus on getting the bags loaded and making sure the counts are right. It gets loud with the horns honking outside, but you get used to it after a few years. We don't have a big office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of stock. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We know most of the regulars who stop by, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the seasons. It’s just us doing what we do, day in and day out. Sometimes the bags break and we have to sweep up the mess, but that is part of the job too. We just keep at it and hope the rain stays away so the stock stays dry.
