Lucky Computers

You can find us at H-No: 7-5, Plot No-5 in the J P N Nagar Colony in Miyapur. Being in Hyderabad, it gets quite hot here, so the office usually has a fan or cooler going at full speed. We work with computers, so the place is usually full of half-opened towers, monitors, and various cables lying around. It’s not the neatest place in the world, but we know where everything is. People from the colony come in when their laptops stop working or if they need a new part. We spend a lot of time squinting at small screws and trying to figure out why a motherboard is acting up. It’s quiet work for the most part, except for the sound of fans spinning. We’ve been here in Miyapur for a while now and the locals know us. We don’t have a big storefront with glass windows. It’s just a practical space where we can get some work done. Sometimes we stay late to finish a repair if someone needs it for work the next day. The tea shop around the corner is where we usually end up when we need a break. We don’t use a lot of technical jargon when talking to people; we just try to explain what’s wrong with their machine in plain English. It is a steady job and we enjoy being part of the neighborhood here in J P N Nagar.
