Our shop is located at 1-3-183/40/57/1 on Gandhinagar Road. It’s right there in Kavadiguda, across from the Med Plus. You see a lot of people going in and out of the pharmacy. We have old monitors and keyboard parts sitting on the back shelves. The place smells like solder and dust. We sit at the workbenches trying to fix things. Gandhinagar Road is always busy with scooters. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait. We don't have a big fancy storefront. Just a glass door with some stickers. Kavadiguda is a crowded area so parking is always a mess. People bring in laptops that won't turn on. We take them apart. Screws get lost sometimes if we aren't careful. Opposite Med Plus is how everyone describes where we are. It’s a landmark. 1-3-183/40/57/1 is a long address to write down. We have been here for a good while. The cables are tangled in the corner. We spend the whole day looking at screens or inside computer towers. It’s just what we do here. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's just us and the broken hardware. We keep a small radio on for some background noise. It helps pass the time when the repairs are tedious. It's a living. We use a lot of canned air to blow out the dust from the machines. It gets everywhere. Then we just start on the next one.
