If you have ever spent time in Ameerpet or near Hi-Tech City in Hyderabad, you know how crowded it gets with all the tech shops and students. That is where we are. Sdl Computers Services is basically a place where we fix laptops, desktops, and whatever else is acting up. We chose these locations because that’s where the people are who usually have computer problems. Our workspace is often filled with open CPU towers, loose wires, and screwdrivers scattered around. It’s not the cleanest looking place, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big sales floor with shiny new gadgets for sale. Mostly, we just have shelves of parts and machines waiting to be picked up. We started doing this because we like taking things apart and putting them back together. It’s satisfying when a dead computer finally boots up again. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to customers. We just tell them what’s broken and what it will cost to fix it. Sometimes we have a lot of work and it takes a day or two longer, but we try to be clear about that. It is a small operation, and we don't have any big corporate backing. It’s just us, some tools, and a lot of coffee to keep us going through the busy afternoons in Hyderabad.
