Om Sai Bags And Crafts is located near the Ramalayam in Kukatpally. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around the temple. We have a small shop where we make and sell different types of bags and handmade items. It’s a bit of a crowded space because we have rolls of material and tools lying around everywhere. We didn't want a polished showroom; we wanted a place where we could actually work. Most days you can hear the sound of the sewing machines running while people walk past outside. Kukatpally is a great place to be because there are always people looking for sturdy bags for their shopping or daily use. We don't have a big marketing team telling us what to do. We just make things that we think people will find useful and sell them for a fair price. Sometimes a craft project doesn't turn out exactly how we planned, but we keep at it until it's right. It’s just a few of us here, and we handle everything from picking the fabric to talking to the customers. We like being near the temple because it brings a lot of life to the street. We aren't trying to become a global brand. We are just happy being a local shop that people can trust when they need a good bag or a simple craft.
