Out here on Perumbotta Road in Elamakkara, things usually move at their own pace. Our place is at 29/566, right where you would expect a local spot to be. We deal with exports, which sounds a bit more complicated than it actually feels on a Tuesday afternoon. There is a lot of packing and making sure the labels are stuck on the boxes correctly. The office space isn't anything special to look at. It is just a functional area where we handle the logistics and the back-and-forth emails. Sometimes the heavy rain in Kochi makes things a bit slow, but we keep the shipments moving. We have been in this part of town for a good bit now. People around here know the building. It isn't a corporate skyscraper, just a regular building where work happens. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where containers are or seeing if the paperwork cleared the customs office. It gets a bit cluttered with samples and shipping boxes sometimes. We don't have a big fancy lobby for guests. If you come by to visit, you will probably see us in the middle of a task or talking to a delivery driver. We just focus on getting the goods from here to wherever they need to go next. It is a lot of coordination every single day. Being near the P.O. helps with the smaller mailings we have to do. It's honest work and it keeps us busy.
