If you walk near the Ramalayam in Kukatpally, you will probably see our place. We do bags and different craft items right here. It is a busy area with the temple nearby, so there is always a lot of noise and people walking past. We have been at this Kukatpally location for some time now. Our day usually starts early, getting the shop ready and looking at what needs to be finished. We make a variety of things by hand. It's not a factory; it's more of a small workshop where we sit and work on designs. Sometimes we have a lot of custom orders for local events or just people wanting something unique for their home. The crafts part takes up a lot of our table space. We like being near the temple because it feels like the heart of the community. People often stop in after visiting the Ramalayam just to see what new things we have made. It isn't a fancy store with glass windows everywhere. We have our tools and our materials spread out where we can reach them easily. It gets a bit dusty sometimes with all the fabric and wood scraps, but that's just how it is with handmade stuff. We are just local people making things that other people find useful or nice to look at in their houses. There is no big mystery to it, just keeping the shop going every day and talking to the neighbors.
