Jai Ramdas & Sons

Jai Ramdas & Sons is situated at 5-5-87 in the Ranigunj area. If you’ve ever walked through Ranigunj, you know it is a maze of small shops and narrow lanes. Our shop is no different. It is a family-run place, and we have been here for generations. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling and are packed with all sorts of engineering goods and parts. It’s quite dusty, and you usually have to move a few boxes just to find a place to stand. We don't have a computer system that tracks everything perfectly, so we mostly rely on our memory to find what a customer needs. We have many regular customers who have been coming to us since our fathers were running the shop. There is always a bit of conversation going on, usually about the local news or the price of metal. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or try to act like a big corporation. We are just a small shop trying to provide what people in the neighborhood need. It gets very hot in the summer because we don't have much ventilation, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. It is a busy, cluttered, and honest way to make a living, and we are quite content with staying right here in Ranigunj.
