Anphale Fresh Fruit Farmer Agro Producer Company Limited

Anphale is a small village in the Khatav taluka of Satara, and that is where we are. You can find us care of Sunil Yelmar’s place. We formed this company because there are a lot of fruit farmers in this area and we thought it made sense to work together. It is called Anphale Fresh Fruit Farmer Agro Producer Company Limited. Most of us grew up here, so we know the hills and the weather pretty well. Satara has a specific kind of soil that is good for certain fruits. During the harvest, things get really busy around Sunil's place. We have crates piled up everywhere and everyone is rushing to get the fruit sorted before it gets too ripe. It is hard work, and your back usually hurts by the end of the week. We do not have a big corporate headquarters. We just use what we have at the post office area in Anphale. We spend our time talking to the other farmers in Khatav and figuring out which trucks are coming to pick up the loads. Sometimes the market prices are low and we have to figure out what to do, but that is just part of farming. We do not have any fancy mission statements. We just want to make sure the fruit gets sold and the trees stay healthy for next year. It is a simple, honest way to make a living in the village. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
