Mustafabad Farmers Producer Companylimited is based right in Village Saran. We are located in Block Mustafabad at plot 449. It is a rural area, so things move a bit slower here than in the big cities. The air is different and you can see the fields stretching out for quite a distance. Most of our days are spent talking to people from the village. We handle the business side of things for the farmers around here. The office is a basic room with a few chairs and a table that has seen better days. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. There is usually a pile of registers and some farming equipment lying about. People come in with dirt on their boots and tell us how the season is going. We listen and try to sort out the logistics of moving the produce. It gets quite hot in Mustafabad during the summer months, so we usually have the fans running full speed. Sometimes we have to go out into the fields ourselves to check on things. It is hard work and sometimes it is messy. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a group of us in Saran trying to keep the accounts straight. We keep things simple because that is what works best for us. Sometimes the rain washes out the paths, making it hard for anyone to reach us, but we stay open regardless.
