Sirnea Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Sirniatola, near Hafalganj. Devendra Pd Lal’s place is the main point for our group. Being in the Sirnia West block, we mostly focus on what grows well in this specific soil. It's a lot of us working together now. Before, everyone just did their own thing, but now we talk more about seeds and how much water the crops need. The village is quiet, mostly just farming going on. We spend our mornings in the fields and the afternoons figuring out where to send the produce. Hafala Panch is where most of our members live. It's not a corporate setup. We just sit together and decide what to plant next season. Sometimes the market prices are frustrating, so being a group helps us feel a bit more secure. We have a small space to keep our things. It’s simple work, nothing fancy. We grow what we can and try to keep the costs down. If someone’s tractor breaks, another person helps. That's just how it is here. Most of us have known each other for years, growing up in the same village. We just wanted a way to organize things a bit better for the local farmers around Sirnia. It’s a lot of manual labor and long days, but that is the life we know. We are just local people from the village trying to keep the farms going without too much trouble. We just hope for good harvests every year.
