Down in Kunji village, near the Punarji post office, that is where you will find us. We are Manvoday Farmer Producer Company Limited, but to everyone around here, we are just the local folks working the land. It’s a quiet spot, away from the big city noise, where the main thing on everyone's mind is the harvest. We don't have a big fancy office building with a sign. Usually, we just meet up where the work is happening or at someone’s house to discuss what needs to be done for the season. It’s mostly about helping each other out with inputs and trying to find better ways to sell what we grow without getting cheated. The village life is slow but the work is hard. We deal with the heat and the rain just like our fathers did. There are a lot of small farmers in this part of the country, and we realized that sticking together makes more sense than trying to fight the market alone. Sometimes we argue about which seeds are better or when to sell, but at the end of the day, we are all neighbors. We don't use big words or have some grand plan written on a whiteboard. We just want to make sure our families are okay and the land stays healthy for the next generation. It’s simple, plain work that keeps us busy from morning till night.
