Rahat Farmer Producer Company Limited is a small group we started in Village Badela. We are located at Shiv Poojan’s place, house number 01, near the Kurthiya post office. This part of Sant Kabir Nagar is where we all live and work. Farming is the main thing here, and we wanted a way to make it more organized. We aren't a big corporation with lots of employees; it is just us farmers coming together. The zip code is 272176, and if you come by, you’ll probably see us working in the fields nearby. We handle things like getting seeds and selling what we grow as a group. It makes things a little easier when we have to deal with the markets. It is honest work and sometimes it gets very tiring, especially when the rains don't come on time. We keep the office simple and mostly focus on the practical side of things. There is no polish here, just dirt on our boots and some ledgers to keep track of the money. We wanted to call it Rahat because we hope it brings some relief to the people farming in Badela. It takes a lot of coordination to get everyone on the same page, but we are getting better at it. We mostly just talk over tea and decide what the best move is for the upcoming month.
