Githani Farmer Producer Company Limited is a small outfit located in Srinagar, Po Chandraha. We are part of the Dhanghata area in Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Our pin code is 272164. This company is really just about the farmers in our little corner of the world. We do not have any big corporate headquarters or anything like that. We mostly just meet up and discuss how the crops are doing and how we can sell them for a fair price. It is a lot of talking and a lot of walking the fields. Life in Sant Kabir Nagar moves at its own pace, and we try to keep up with the changes in the market. Most of our members are just regular people who have been farming for generations. We thought it was time we had a proper name for our group, so we registered as a producer company. It helps with the paperwork and getting things sorted with the government. We do not use any flashy slogans. We just focus on the soil and the seeds. Sometimes we have to deal with pests or bad weather, and that is when being a group really helps out. We share the load and try to keep things going. It is honest, humble work and we are proud to be from this part of Uttar Pradesh. We just keep our heads down and work.
