Utkrisht Agro Producer Company Limited is situated in Sariya, right on the LRP Road in Khalilabad. This is in Sant Kabir Nagar. Being on the LRP Road is actually quite handy because it’s a main route for transport. We see a lot of trucks passing by every day. Our company is all about the local agro-business. We spend our time working with the farmers around Sariya to get their produce ready for the market. It’s not a very glamorous job. Most of the day is spent checking the quality of the crops or making sure the transport is lined up. We have a small office where we keep our files, but most of our work happens outside talking to people. We don't go for any of those city-style phrases you see in advertisements. We’re just trying to do a decent job for the people in our area. Sometimes the market prices are frustratingly low, and we have to spend hours trying to find a better deal. It can be a bit stressful when the deadlines are tight, but we’ve got a good group of people here who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We just want the farmers in Khalilabad to get a fair shake. It’s a lot of hard work, and we’re still learning some of the business stuff as we go along. But we’ve been here a while now, and we’re staying for the long haul.
