Jibhiyanav Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Panch Ram’s place in Basti, specifically in the Haraiyaparsanw area. It’s house number 01, right at the start of the lane. We are just a group of local farmers who decided to pool our resources together. Panch Ram was kind enough to let us use part of his house for the office work. It’s a very practical setup with just the basics—a few tables, some chairs, and a lot of ledger books. We spend our mornings out in the fields and then head over to Haraiyaparsanw in the afternoons to settle the accounts. The area is quite green and we have a lot of space, but the work is still tough. We don't have any corporate polishing or big speeches. We just talk about the wheat or the rice and how the water levels are looking. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to see what we are doing, and we just explain it in simple terms. It’s a bit disorganized at times because we are more comfortable with a plow than a pen, but we get the job done. The company is our way of making sure the small farmers in Basti don't get left behind. We don't have any fancy goals, just the daily task of farming and selling. It’s a real, honest way to live, and we are proud of being from here.
