Sri Sakthivel Rice & Sago Factory

Sri Sakthivel Rice & Sago Factory is situated on the Cuddalore Salem Main Road in Nathakkarai. It can be a little confusing for people finding us because we have two numbers, the new No. 5/350 and the old No. 5/136, but we have stayed in the same spot through it all. We are in the Thalaivasal area near Attur, which is a good location for a factory that handles rice and sago. The main road is always busy with buses and trucks, so there is never a quiet moment during the day. Inside the factory, things are even louder with the machinery grinding and processing the grains. There is always a fine layer of dust on the floors, which is just part of the job when you deal with rice. We have a big space for storage because we need to keep the bags dry and safe. The weather can be a problem during the rainy season, so we are always keeping an eye on the roof and the loading bays. It is a family-run kind of atmosphere here, even with the workers we have employed. We do not have any fancy titles or corporate rules. Everyone just knows what needs to happen to get the bags filled and onto the trucks. It is hard work and the days are long, but we have been doing it this way for many years now.
