A.K.Ahamed Modern Rice Mill

A.K.Ahamed Modern Rice Mill sits right on Mannarpalayam Road. The address is 40/2, near the Llikuttai Post area. It’s a place where there is always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of machines running in the background. We’ve been processing rice here for years. It’s hard work and the days can be quite long, especially when the harvest comes in. We don’t have a fancy office or a marketing department. It’s just us, the mill, and the trucks coming in and out. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time checking the machinery and making sure everything is moving like it should. Mannarpalayam Road isn’t the busiest road in the world, but we like the spot. It gives us enough room to do what we need to do. Most of the guys working here have been around for a long time and know the equipment inside out. We don't use big words or have meetings all day. We just focus on the rice. Sometimes the heat gets to you, but we have some fans going to keep it manageable. It’s a very grounded kind of life here. No big corporate goals, just getting the rice ready and sent out. That’s really all there is to it at our mill. We just stay busy with the work and don't worry about the rest of the world.
