You can find Sri Krishna Foods over at 78 Alagapuram Pudur in Dadagapatti. It is a busy little corner of the neighborhood and there is always some kind of activity happening around here. We start the day while it is still dark to get everything ready. The building at number 78 has been around for a long time and it has its quirks, like the door that sticks when it rains. We do things the old way because that is how we learned. It is mostly a small group of us working here. We know most of the people who walk by every day. Sometimes they poke their heads in to say hello or ask how things are going. Dadagapatti is a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, so we try to keep things simple. We don't spend money on big signs or anything flashy. The work is steady and that is all we really ask for. Some days are harder than others, especially when it gets really humid and the fans don't seem to do much. We just keep moving and get the orders ready. It is not a corporate setup with meetings and reports. We just talk to each other and figure out what needs to be done. It is a practical way to run a place and it suits us just fine.
