You can find us on the first floor of 23 Ayyasamy Road, which is right in the middle of Shevapet. If you know Shevapet, you know it is a crowded place with a lot of commerce happening every single minute. Sree Rajguru Starch Co. has been operating from this spot for a long time. The stairs leading up to our office are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to watch your step when you come to visit. Since we deal with starch, there is always a bit of a fine white powder on things, no matter how much we clean up. It is just part of the business. We spend our days talking to suppliers and making sure the bags are moving to the right customers. The heat in Shevapet can be something else in the summer, and being on the first floor means we catch a bit of the breeze if we are lucky. We aren't big on fancy decorations or anything like that. Our desks are covered in ledgers and sample packets because that is what matters for the work. There is always noise from the street below, with carts and trucks and people shouting, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the quality is what it should be. It is simple work, but it keeps us very busy.
