Sk Impex

Our place, Sk Impex, is located right in the 6r. K Ricemill Compound on Tiruchengodu Road. Being inside a ricemill compound means there is always some dust in the air and the sound of machinery in the background. It is a very industrial sort of spot, not a fancy office building. We spend most of our time out in the yard or sitting in the small room we use for our clerical work. The traffic on Tiruchengodu Road can be a real headache, especially in the afternoons when everyone is trying to get somewhere at once. We’ve got a small crew here, just a few local guys who know the work. We don't really have a reception area or anything like that, just a couple of chairs if someone stops by to talk. Usually, we are busy checking the bags or making sure the loading is happening correctly. It’s a lot of physical work and standing around in the heat. We don't use any high-tech systems, just some basic computers and a lot of handwritten notes pinned to the wall. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with old registers stacked in the corner. We focus on getting the goods out on time and making sure the trucks don't leave half empty. It is just honest work day in and day out, nothing more and nothing less. You can usually find us here from early morning until the sun goes down, just trying to keep the business moving along.
