We’ve been here on Moongapadi Street in Gugai for quite a while now. Most people around here know the building at number 76. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office where we get things done every day. We started out small and mostly just handled whatever came our way. Usually, the morning starts with opening up the shutters and checking what needs to go out. It gets a bit busy around mid-day when the traffic on the street picks up. My desk is usually covered in papers and notes. Sometimes the phone rings and it’s a neighbor or a regular person asking about an order. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure things move along. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. People just drop by if they need something. It’s a straightforward way of working. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a lot of inventory to count. We keep the ledger books on the shelf near the back door. It’s mostly just about getting the work finished so we can go home. We’ve seen the street change over the years, new shops coming and going, but we just stay here at our spot. It’s quiet in the evenings after everyone else closes up. We just keep doing what we do every single day.
