You can find P. Dhanasekaran Enterprises at No. 31-A, Narashimma Chetty Road in Shevapet. This area is a major hub for business, so there are always trucks being loaded and unloaded right outside our front door. It’s a very busy street, and sometimes the dust from the road gets into the office, but that’s just part of being in Shevapet. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it serves us well. Most of our day is spent talking to customers who walk in or calling up suppliers to see when the next load is arriving. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the inventory inside out. The back room is usually filled with stock, so we have to climb over things sometimes just to find a specific item. It is a lot of physical work, checking weights and making sure the labels are correct. We don't go in for fancy marketing; people around here just know us by name and stop by when they need something. There is a small tea shop on the corner where we usually get our morning snacks. The traffic on Narashimma Chetty Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get most of our heavy lifting done early in the morning when it’s a bit quieter. It’s honest, local work and we’ve been doing it this way for years.
