Shrie Agencies

Our office is at 524, Angammal Colony, which is basically right next to the New Bus Stand. Because of that, there is always a lot of noise and people moving about outside our door. Shrie Agencies has been here for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the constant sound of buses pulling in and out. The space inside is mostly filled with boxes and stacks of paperwork because we handle a lot of distribution and agency work. It’s not a showroom where you’d come to browse. It’s more of a place where things get sorted and sent out to where they need to go. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with deliveries to worry about that. On hot days, the ceiling fans just move the warm air around, so we usually keep the front shutters halfway up to get a breeze. We have a small crew here, and we mostly just talk to each other about the day's tasks or what needs to be loaded next. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll just see us at our desks or moving crates around. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of lists. We just focus on making sure the goods get to the right people on time without making any big deal out of it.
