Nallathambi Sea Waves India (Opc) Private Limited

Our business is tucked away in M.G.R Nagar, Nethimedu, which is on the side of Salem. The address is 2/25, 36. We called it Nallathambi Sea Waves India even though we are not right by the ocean. We deal with seafood, so the name makes sense for what we do. It’s an OPC private limited, which basically means it is a small operation. Most of our work starts very early in the morning when the shipments come in. Salem is quite a distance from the coast, so getting things here fresh is always a bit of a task. The area around Nethimedu is mostly residential and small shops, so we blend in pretty well. We don't have a big storefront for people to gawk at. It’s more of a practical base for us to move goods from. The floors are usually a bit wet and there’s always a faint smell of the sea around the place. We don't have any slogans or big goals other than keeping the fish cold and the customers satisfied. It is a tough business because things can go bad quickly if you aren't careful. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and staying on top of the logistics. We just make sure the crates are stacked and the ice is fresh.
