Muthu Sago Industries

Muthu Sago Industries is located at 669, Salem Main Road. We are in the Ammaiagaram area of Chinna Salem. We have been working with sago for a very long time now. Our factory is right on the main road so it is easy for the local farmers to bring us their crops. It is a lot of hard physical work and it can get quite hot inside the plant during the day. We have a good crew of local people who know exactly what they are doing with the machines. We do not have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make good sago every single day. The process takes a lot of time and we do not believe in rushing it. We have seen this whole area change a lot over the years, but our building has stayed mostly the same. We usually have a lot of bags stacked up and ready to go out. Sometimes the old machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves on the spot. We do not spend any money on fancy advertisements or marketing. Most of our business comes from people who have known our family for a long time. We are not a polished company with a lot of complicated rules. We just work hard and try to be fair with everyone we meet. It is a simple life and a good way to earn a living.
