Angel International

Our workshop is at No-38 in the Mahipura Area, right off Dehradun Road in Saharanpur. Being near the bus stand means it's always busy outside with people coming and going. Angel International is just a name on a board; mostly we are just a group of guys who know how to work with wood. Saharanpur is famous for this kind of thing, so we grew up learning the trade. Our space is filled with the sound of chisels hitting wood. It’s a rhythmic noise that you stop noticing after a while. The floor is always covered in wood shavings, no matter how much we sweep. We don't have a big corporate structure. I usually handle the phone calls while helping out with the packing. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come into the back where the work is happening. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait or work by the light from the door. It’s just part of life here. We don't make a big deal out of things. We just take the orders as they come and try to get them done. It’s a simple business built on old skills. We aren't looking for fame, just enough work to keep everyone busy and the lights on. That’s the reality of it for us.
