PAPA JI SWEETS & RESTAURANT

We are located on the main road in Kharar, specifically on the Kharar Chandigarh Road. Our shop is right opposite City Heart at Bansan wali Chungi. It is a spot that stays busy because of all the traffic moving between Kharar and Chandigarh. We have both sweets and a restaurant area. It is a lot to manage, but we have been at it for a while now. The morning starts with making the fresh sweets and putting them in the display cases. Then we get the kitchen ready for the lunch crowd. We get a lot of travelers who are just passing through, plus the local folks from around the Chungi. The place is functional and plain. We do not go in for expensive furniture. We just want people to have a place to sit and eat something. The road outside is always noisy with horns and engines, but inside we try to keep things moving smoothly. We serve a lot of different people, from truck drivers to families going into the city. We do not have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open up, make the food, and sell the sweets. It is a family-run kind of thing, so everyone chips in where they can. If you are on the road to Chandigarh, you can not really miss us near City Heart. We are just here doing our thing.
