NAAZ DHABA

We’re located at Shop No 28 in the Dashmesh colony area of Balongi. It’s right near the police station, so it’s pretty easy to find if you’re driving through. Being on the edge of Mohali means we get a lot of different people coming in. We also serve folks from Chandigarh because it’s not a long drive at all. The dhaba is a simple place with no big signs or flashing lights. We mostly just focus on getting the tandoor hot and making sure the dal is thick. It gets quite busy in the evenings when people are heading home from work. The atmosphere is loud and a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how a dhaba is supposed to be. We don’t have fancy menus with photos. We just tell you what we’ve cooked for the day. Some people have been coming to us for years and they don’t even need to look at a list. They just sit down and wait for their usual. We try to keep the place tidy but with so many people moving in and out, it’s a constant job. The traffic near the police station can be a bit much, but it brings people to our door. We’re just glad to be a part of the local scene here in Balongi and Mohali. It’s honest work and we enjoy the daily buzz of the crowd.
