SUNDET DESIRE

Sundet Desire is over at Shop no. 12 in the Food block of Sunny Enclave. We’re in Kharar, Mohali, 140301. It's near the new Sunny Enclave Market. We also end up serving a lot of people from Chandigarh since it’s so close. The shop isn’t very big. It’s tucked away in the food block with a bunch of other places. We do a lot of takeout and delivery. The market area gets pretty packed on the weekends. We have a couple of guys on bikes who handle the deliveries. Sometimes they get delayed when the traffic in Kharar gets bad. It’s a growing area, so there’s always construction happening. We started this place because we wanted to do something for ourselves. It’s a lot of long hours. We usually open up late in the morning and stay until the last order is done at night. The menu is just things we like to eat. We don't have any fancy descriptions for the dishes. People usually know what they want anyway. We don't have a big sign, just the one over the door. It’s a simple operation. We focus on getting the food out reasonably fast. Being in Sunny Enclave is good because there are so many families around. We get to know the regulars pretty well. It’s a tough business but we enjoy it. We just try to keep the kitchen organized despite the rush.
