Icici Bank

This Icici Bank branch is located right in H E C Colony Dhurwa, specifically over at E 347 in Sector 2. If you know Ranchi, you know this part of town has its own pace. We have been here for a while now, sitting behind these counters and dealing with whatever comes through the door. The colony is mostly families and people who have worked in the area for a long time, so we see a lot of the same people every week. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main city center, which is nice most days. We spend our time checking documents, typing on keyboards that have seen better days, and making sure the ledgers are right. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or polished speeches. We just show up, open the shutters, and start the day. Sometimes the internet is slow or a printer jams, and we just have to fix it and move on. It’s a practical kind of job. People come in to deposit money or complain about a card that isn’t working, and we do what we can. The building itself is just a standard place, nothing special to look at from the outside. We’ve got our regular routine and we stick to it. It’s just a local bank spot for the Dhurwa folks to get their stuff done without traveling too far.
