Floris Import Pvt. Ltd.

We are based in Flat No- 112 of the Rameshwaram Apartment on Kanchvari Road. Floris Import Pvt. Ltd. isn't a typical shop you’d walk into from the street. Since we are in an apartment building, it’s more of a quiet office where we handle all the importing work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer, talking to people from different places and sorting out where the goods are. Kanchvari Road is usually busy, but once you get inside the apartment complex, it gets a lot quieter. We have desks set up in the main room and files stacked up everywhere. It’s a small team, just a few of us making sure everything is coming in like it’s supposed to. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually have an appointment to talk about a shipment. The apartment has big windows, so we get some nice light during the day, which makes the work a bit better. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we are doing with all those papers, but we just keep to ourselves and do our thing. It’s a practical way to run an import business without needing a big, expensive warehouse in the middle of town. We’ve been here at Rameshwaram for a while now and it suits us just fine for the daily work.
