Anushka Plastics

We are over at Pyada Toli Mahavir Chowk, right in the heart of Upper Bazar. Being near the Hanuman Mandir means we get a lot of foot traffic, especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays when the temple is crowded. Anushka Plastics is a family-run thing. We’ve been in this specific spot for years, and the building is quite old with those narrow stairs that everyone has to be careful on. The market here is always packed with people and carts, so it’s a bit of a struggle to get deliveries through the narrow lanes. We mostly sell plastic household items and some packaging materials. It’s a bit messy inside because we try to stock as much as possible to make sure we don't run out of what people want. Sometimes I feel like I spend more time moving boxes around than actually selling things. My father used to run a shop nearby, so I grew up learning how to talk to customers and handle the stock. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We just want to provide what the local families need for their kitchens and shops. It’s a honest day's work. The bells from the temple are like a clock for us, letting us know when the day is starting and ending. We close up when the market starts to quiet down after the evening prayers.
