If you head over to Narhan in Ramgarh, you will find us at Manish Tiwari’s place. It is a busy little spot where we handle the agro-industrial side of things. The trucks come in through the narrow lanes, and sometimes it is a bit of a squeeze getting them parked right. We have been working out of this location for a while now. The office is tucked away inside, and it smells like grain and earth most days. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we sort through the paperwork. It isn't a high-tech setup. We use old fans that creak a bit, but they keep the air moving during the humid months. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages, so we all know each other’s families. Lunch is usually a shared affair with whatever everyone brought from home. We talk about the rain or the lack of it, mostly. The machinery can be loud when it is running full tilt, so we have learned to speak up over the noise. It is a steady kind of work. We are not trying to change the world, just keeping the business moving and making sure the agro products are processed right for the local market. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, but usually, we head home when the light starts to fade over Ramgarh. It is just honest work.
