Shiv Hanumanth Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of house number 64 in Ramgarh. It is the village and the post office too. We are a group of farmers who decided to join up. It’s a lot better than trying to do everything alone. Ramgarh is where we all live and work. We don't have a big corporate office with a secretary. It’s just house 64. We meet there to talk about what we’re planting and how the soil is looking. We named the company Shiv Hanumanth because those are names we trust. Our work is mostly done out in the fields, not behind a desk. We spend a lot of time worrying about the rain and the cost of fertilizer. That’s just how it is when you’re a farmer in Ramgarh. We don't have any big fancy brochures or anything like that. We just focus on the crops and making sure we can get them to the market. When the harvest time comes, it’s all hands on deck and things get very busy around house 64. We help each other out with equipment and advice. It’s a simple way of living and working. We’ve been at this address for a while and everyone in the village knows who we are. We just want to keep the company going so the local farmers have a bit more security. It’s hard work, but we are used to it.
