Barkagaon Pragatisheel Producer Company Limited is based at Belabarkagaon. Our address is simply 01, Pandey. It’s a well-known spot in the village. We started this producer company to help the local farmers in the Barkagaon area get a fair deal for their crops. The office is a very simple room with a couple of old desks and a few chairs that have seen better days. We don't have a big staff. It’s mostly just a few of us who grew up around here and wanted to do something useful. There’s a big tree outside where people wait when it gets crowded. We spend most of our time going over the numbers and making sure the farmers are getting their payments on time. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of dust and the paperwork can get overwhelming, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy sign. Most of our members joined because they heard about us from a neighbor. The office can get a bit hot in the summer because the old fan doesn't move much air. We just open the windows and keep going. It’s a very straightforward, local operation. We don't try to sound like a big company because we aren't one. We are just the people at number 01, Pandey, working hard to keep things moving for the growers in Belabarkagaon.
