Swarnrekha Krishak Producer Companylimited is based in Saragdih, near Barlanga in the Ramgarh area. We operate from the home of Angad Kumar Mahto, who is the son of Prabhu Das Mahto. It’s a real family and community effort out here in Hazaribagh. Being a producer company means we are mostly focused on the local farmers around the Gola police station area. We aren't sitting in some air-conditioned office in a big city. Instead, we are right here where the crops are grown. Our days are filled with meeting people from the village and trying to organize our produce better. It’s often loud, with kids playing nearby and tractors passing on the road. We keep our records in a simple way, and everyone knows everyone else. It’s a bit informal, maybe, but it works for us. We deal with the challenges of the seasons and the market prices as they come. There’s no big corporate strategy, just a group of us trying to get a fair deal for the hard work put into the land. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the roads are muddy, but we keep going. It’s a local life, and we are proud to be part of this community in Jharkhand. We just take things one day at a time and try to help each other out.
