Our place is out at Plot No: G-557 in the Lodhika Industrial Estate. It’s quite a drive out on Kalawad Road to get here every morning. Vitagreen Products Pvt. Ltd. operates in a big shed that stays pretty cool even when it’s hot outside. We’ve got machines running most of the time, so there’s always a hum in the background. It’s an industrial area, so there aren’t many places to grab a quick snack nearby; we usually just bring our own tiffins and eat together in the small break area. We aren't interested in being a big fancy corporation. We just focus on the manufacturing side and making sure the quality is what it needs to be for every batch. The floors are concrete and the walls are painted a simple grey. Most of our day is spent checking the production lines or talking to the guys in the warehouse. Sometimes we have to stay late if a machine breaks down or if a big order needs to go out to the G.I.D.C. Metoda area. We’ve got a small office section where the paperwork gets done, but it’s mostly about what’s happening on the floor. It’s a straightforward way to live. We work hard, we look after the equipment, and we go home when the job is done. This is just our daily reality out here in Metoda, keeping things running.
