Our place is located right on the Rajkot National Highway 27, in the Tal Gondal area. Being near the highway means we get a lot of trucks passing by and it’s easy for us to move our display equipment out to customers. We have a fairly large space here because the stuff we make takes up a lot of room. It’s mostly metalwork and assembly. You can hear the sounds of machines and tools going most of the day. It’s dusty work, especially with the road so close, but that’s just how it is in this part of Gujarat. We started out small and just kept adding more space as we needed it. Most of the staff are locals from the surrounding villages. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone welding or painting a frame. We make all sorts of racks and stands for shops. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time looking at designs and making sure the measurements are right. The heat can be quite something in the summer, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. Lunch is usually a group affair in the back. We don't bother with corporate talk; we just focus on getting the orders finished and loaded onto the trucks. It’s a straightforward life out here on the highway, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time.
