Nexus Overseas

Nexus Overseas sits right on the corner of Mira Udhyog 4/6, near the Aji Ring Road. Being so close to the ring road means there is a constant stream of trucks and heavy traffic moving past our doors all day. You get used to the noise after a while, but it’s definitely a busy part of town. We handle a lot of different trading and overseas work from this small office. It isn’t a very big space, but it’s enough for the five of us to get our work done. We spend most of our mornings on the telephone or going through long lists of inventory. There is a lot of back and forth with shipping companies and logistics people, which can be a headache sometimes. The paperwork often piles up on the desks, but that is just the nature of the business we are in. We have been at this corner for several years now. There is a small tea stall just a short walk away where we usually gather around 4 PM for a quick break. We don't use any of those fancy high-tech systems. We mostly just keep track of everything in our ledgers and on the basic office computer. A few of the guys here have been with the company since we first opened the doors. It’s a tight-knit group. We see the big containers going past toward the ring road and it reminds us of the scale of things. It’s a gritty, industrial part of the city.
