J J Manufactures

You have to head down Gondal Road and go past the railway crossing to find us. We are near Ram Estate on Street Number 4. That railway crossing can be a real pain if you time it wrong, as the gates seem to stay down forever. Once you get past it, the street is a bit narrow but we are right there. At J J Manufactures, we spend our days making things. It is a noisy place with a lot of clanging and banging. We don't have a big corporate sign or a fancy lobby. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. We’ve been in this street for a long time. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops, so everyone knows everyone else. We often share a tea or talk about the traffic at the crossing. Our shop is filled with materials and bits of metal or whatever we are working on that week. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We take things as they come. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been working together for years. It’s a simple life on Gondal Road. We start early and we finish when the work is through. It’s just how manufacturing goes in a place like this.
