Vikram Cement Products

We make cement products here on Movia Road in Gondal. Our yard is right near the Sahara Petrol Pump, so it’s pretty easy to find if you’re driving that way. We produce things like cement blocks, pipes, and other pre-cast items people need for construction. The yard is usually full of drying blocks and bags of cement. It’s a dusty job, and we spend a lot of time mixing and pouring into the molds. You’ll see the workers out there most of the day, even when it’s hot. We have a lot of trucks coming in to pick up loads for building sites around Gondal. The ground is often uneven and covered in sand. We don't have a polished showroom; you just come to the yard and see what we’ve got ready to go. Sometimes we are running behind if the weather is bad and the cement doesn't dry fast enough. That’s just part of the business. We try to keep enough stock so people don't have to wait. It’s hard work and involves a lot of manual labor every day. We’ve been at this Movia Road spot for years. People know they can just pull up near the petrol pump and find us. It’s a basic operation but we provide the materials that build the houses and roads around here. We handle all the heavy lifting and stacking ourselves to make sure things are ready for the builders when they arrive with their trucks.
