Major Cement Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend most of our days. You can find us over at Survey No. 232, tucked right behind the 66Kva Sub Station. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for the big gates. We spend a lot of time just keeping the equipment clean and moving the bags around. It is hard work and nobody here wears a suit, that is for sure. Most of the morning is spent checking the stock and seeing which trucks are coming in. The substation nearby makes a constant humming sound that we’ve all just gotten used to over the years. It’s funny how you stop hearing things like that after a week or two on the job. We have a small office where we keep the paperwork, but mostly we are out in the yard. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and the ground gets soft. We just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just providing cement to people who need it for their projects. My brother usually handles the logistics while I stay on the floor. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a practical setup and we like it that way. If you drop by, you'll probably see us covered in a bit of grey dust. That is just part of the life here.
