Our yard is located right on the 8B National Highway, which is usually quite a busy stretch of road. If you are driving along towards Town Upleta, you will see us directly opposite the Nilkanth Petrol Pump. It’s a handy spot because the trucks can pull in and out fairly easily, though the traffic can be a bit much during the middle of the day. We deal with cement here. It is a dusty business, there is no way around that. Every morning we start by checking the stock and seeing what needs to be moved. The yard at Dhoraji Road is mostly filled with bags and sometimes loose material depending on what's coming in. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork, but most of the time we are outside. It gets hot during the summer months, and the wind blows the dust everywhere, so we are always cleaning off the desks. Town Upleta is a decent place to work, and being on the highway means we see a lot of people passing through. We’ve been operating from this same spot for a good number of years. It’s not a complicated setup, just a straightforward cement yard where we try to keep things moving. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the weather makes things difficult, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's basically a local family-run type of vibe where everyone knows their job and we just get on with it.
