Vijay Brothers

Vijay Brothers is located at Aary Shree Valji Nathvani Chowk in Parabazar, right on MG Road. This is a very old and busy part of the city. Being at the chowk means there is constant noise from the traffic and the shoppers. Parabazar is always crowded with people looking for all sorts of things. Our shop or office is right in the thick of it. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the energy stays the same. MG Road is the main artery here, so we get a lot of people passing by. It’s not a quiet place to work, but you get used to the honking and the shouting from the market. The building itself is older, with narrow stairs and high ceilings. We have our stuff organized as best as we can, but space is always a bit tight. We spend our days talking to customers and managing the stock. It’s a family-run kind of feel. We don't use fancy terms to describe what we do. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the market starts to wind down in the evening. There’s a certain rhythm to life at the chowk. We know the other shopkeepers nearby. We share news and sometimes help each other out. It’s just how things are done here in Parabazar.
