United Exports India Ltd.

Latipor Road is a long stretch in Tankara where United Exports India Ltd. is based. The area is mostly industrial and agricultural, so there is always a lot of dust flying around from the trucks. We spend our mornings checking the containers and making sure the logs are updated. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The office is small and gets quite hot in the summer months when the sun hits the roof. We usually have a few tea breaks to deal with the heat. Most of the people working here are from around the local area. We’ve grown used to the noise of the traffic on Latipor Road. It’s the main way in and out for most of the businesses around here. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big reception area. Just a gate and the main building where we handle the export side of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit outside until it comes back on. It is a quiet kind of life compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough with the shipments. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks. That's just how it goes when you're moving goods across the country from a place like Tankara. We keep the gate open most of the day and just wait for the next driver to show up with his manifest.
