Ultratech Cement Ltd.

This is the Rajkot office for Ultratech Cement Ltd, located at Guruprasad Apartments. We are right behind the Jubilee Telephone Exchange, which makes it easy to find if you know the area. Chetan P. Pandhi is usually around here managing the operations at C-401. It’s a typical office environment where we focus on the logistics of the cement trade. We don't have any scripted speeches or polished brochures to hand out. We just handle the local distribution and make sure the accounts are right. Rajkot is a busy place for construction, so the phone doesn't stop ringing much. We deal with all sorts of people, from big contractors to guys just fixing up their own walls. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the right amount of cement gets to the right site on time. The office is functional and a bit crowded with files, but it works for what we need. We don’t spend much time on decorations; we’re more concerned with the truck schedules. It’s a bit noisy sometimes with the traffic from the exchange nearby, but you get used to it after a while. We just focus on the task at hand and try to be as helpful as we can to anyone who walks through the door. It’s just regular folks doing a regular job, making sure the building materials are where they need to be. We stay late often just to finish up the paperwork for the day and prep for tomorrow morning.
